Thunderstorm activity has add some cloud cover and relief from the sun look the action from Trico Mayflies Spinners, the female Trico duns in the mornings along with the Caddis and a few PMDs. In the afternoons Caddis and Trico males at Dark. Some Baetis hatching in the mid-morning. Overall the fishing on the creek is a little tougher due to the thick weeds, and the flows are lower due to the lack of snow pack or rain. Short drag free drifts and light tippet will be in order to hook the phd trout. The thunderstorms may help with some cooling in the afternoons, but may have gusty winds accompanying them along with lightning - use caution. I would use 6x/7x tippet as the water is clear and the fish have been seeing flies from March 1 (as CADFG changed the regulations allowing winter fishing).

Nymphing Patterns: Surface emergers, scuds, Caddis emerger patterns. San Juan Worms Master nymphs. Small PT, Mercer Beadhead micro Stone.

Dry Fly Patterns: Bwo's,Cdc caddis, Schrodder's Parachute Caddis,Para bwos, Hot creek Caddis, Trico spinners in sizes 18-22s, PMD 14-16s
