Conditions on McGee are low and clear for this time of year.No real runoff problems. Most of the spawning fish have moved back to the Lake. Use care if wading as most of the spawning fish have started to return to the lake but the future fish are present in the gravel. Spawning fish key on the egg patterns but will take drifted nymphs and if condition are right will come to the dry fly. water is clear and fish are spooky!!!!
Nymphing Patterns: Glow bugs, Prince Nymphs. Micro Mayflies lighten Bugs, Bead Head PTs.
Dry Fly Patterns: Caddis and Mayflies patterns will take fish midday. Try a orange stimulator! size 18.
Streamer: Larger streamers 6-8s.
