Witnessed fish feeding on the surface from 9am on. Use large Midge patterns, Blood midges hatching. Fish are holding in 12-14' of water best to fish the south end of the lake near Rainbow point and up near East Walker channel. If you're looking to heave it and leave it (Midge fishing as some call it ) use your Crowley tactics, but large flies as the naturals are some of the largest in the world! both Midging and striping will produce. Talk to Eric up at Paradise Shores RV Park and check out the Brown Trout Fry for the Bridgeport Fish Enhancement Program. You can make a donation to help with the care of these young monsters.
