The rental boats are still in full swing and the fishing has been very good. Talking to anglers who went behind the island on Sat. they reported almost a fish with every cast using Nightcrawlers or Trout Traps with a small chunk of worm on them. Most of the fish were in the pound to pound and a half range. A couple of big Alpers came out in a tournament for the Cast and Blast group. Winner was over 6 pounds!! Colors are now just starting to change.
