SCE released a little more water this week which made the creek a little muddy for a few days but it is now clear again and the fishing has gotten better. The additional water has helped locate small pools with trout hiding in them. Nightcrawlers have been great. Weir Pond has been wonderful with an olive Wooly Bugger or a Bullet Jig. A little cold for waders but has been real productive. Both Alpers and CDF & G have been stocking regularly. Crowds have fallen off a little with school starting. Nice time of the year coming up

Casting Roostertails from shore or using a gold Kastmaster have been great. Some nice sized trout coming out with Powerbait or Gulp....... Read More
