The water level is up just a little and the fishing has been fine. Lots of limits coming out with sizes in the ?? to pound range. Panther Martins have been great with some good action on red Salmon Eggs. Finding a nice slow hole is still the key. Some anglers had some trouble catching limits this week but others were dismayed at how quick they caught theirs and had to stop fishing. It really depended on location, location, location.

The rental boats are still in full swing and the fishing has been very good. Talking to anglers who went behind the island on Sat. they reported almost a fish with every cast using Nightcrawlers or Trout Traps with a small chunk of worm on them. Most of the fish were in the pound to pound and a half range. A couple of big Alpers came out in a tournament for the Cast and Blast group. Winner was over 6 pounds!!...... Read More
