Great camping weather and well stocked lakes. It may take you a little long to get there as road work has begun on the way up to lake Mary. The Lakes Basin road may have some delays. All lakes in the Basin have been planted with one exception (Horseshoe), with CADFG trout along with Alpers trout. Conditions are great right now with the warm weather, just right to put a tube in the water and kick around and stay cool. Try most of the lakes near the inlets and outlets. The fish like to concentrate near those areas. Nymphing Patterns: PTs Nymphs, Beadhead Hares Ears, Zebra Midges, sizes 16-20s

Dry Fly Patterns: Adams, light Cahill, Royal Coachmen, Trude, Cal-Mosqitoes, Sierra Bright Dot. 16-20s

Streamer: Black or olive Wolly Buggers damsel flies. Size 10-12s
