WATER TEMPERATURE: 60 Fishing throughout the lake and from the shoreline has been picking up over the past few weeks with the warmer conditions. Striper and bass have been biting more frequently throughout the lake on various baits both from the shoreline and from boats. Soft plastics like smaller paddle tail baits on lead heads have been working well for stripers along with kastmasters and jerk baits. Sardines, anchovies, and lugworms have also been working well to come across the stripers throughout the day down deep, anywhere up to 60 feet deep.
