Fishing has been excellent in the streams following DFG and Alpers stockings but the bite really slows down, especially at the more popular holes, just a few days after stocking. Anglers working the streams a bit more aggressively moving from hole to hole are doing better throughout the week than those sitting at the more popular spots. Most of the area resorts will know when the creeks were stocked last so pattern your strategy after that. The red Gulp! eggs and Pink Powerworms were the hot ticket these week. Salmon eggs and Nightcrawlers were also popular and productive baits.
