Bridgeport Reservoir Report

Water Conditions:
Warm temps up top but cool temps 10ft and deeper and low water levels.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:EXCELLENT!
Fish are looking for moving or cold water (inlets and springs). Very active in morn., going deeper late morn.and early afternoon. Early evening coming up shallow BIG TIME!

Recommended Flies:
CALLIBAETIS! Any emerger, foam wing dry or nymph#14-#16 early morn. (big drakes and monster mays around as well) scuds and waterboatmans.
Mid day go with standard minnow and perch patterns (leeches,buggers and zonkers) with trailer behind approx. 24in (midge, scud, water boatman or calli nymph) Fish top 5ft in evening with drys or streamers.

Guide's Hint: Fish emergers near weeds early morn, and late eve. not only for trout. The huge carp are showing up in shallow channels and troughs again.
