Despite another crazy week of 60 degree temperatures followed by a foot of snow on Friday night, followed by 60 degree temperatures after the storm, fishing has been decent this past week with lots of great size Rainbows coming into the store. We weighed in over 12 fish this past week that all weighed in over 4 pounds with our biggest fish of the week and of the season so far weighing in 7 pounds 4 ounces caught by “Wild Bill” who was out on the lake trolling with a Rainbow Rapala. The fish still seem to be deep in the water as top temperatures of the Lake still are hovering around 44 to 45 degrees, which is why we are seeing more larger fish being caught and less stringers full of Rainbows. We are hoping for a truck load of DFW fish this week to help with the lack of stringer/planter fish being stocked and should be getting another load of Desert Springs Fish again in the next week to two so fishing for the big boys should stay strong. It looks like typical Eastern Sierra weather this next week too, as another storm looks like it is rolling in this next week with a little more snow but it should be real nice before and after, so come on up and enjoy the beauty, the weather, and the fishing at Silver Lake or any of the lakes in the June Lake Loop and Mono County.

Happy Fishing and We Will See You at The Lake!!!!
