The fishing at Silver Lake has been pretty good this past week with several larger fish being brought into the store to be weighed. The biggest of which was a beautiful 7 pound 1 ounce Rainbow caught trolling out on Silver Lake using a Gold/Red Thomas Buoyant. A great fish caught by Scott Amorelli of Santa Clarita. Also this week was a great Rainbow caught by Jacob James of Acton, weighing in at 5 pound 13 ounces caught from the shore using good old Salmon Eggs. We have also seen some great action from anglers using worms, Garlic Power Baits and spinners out on the lake and the creek. Our water levels are still looking great and the temperatures are slowly starting to warm up after last weekends snow. Near the surface we are sitting at about 48 – 50 degrees and a little warmer down deeper. Look for temperatures to continue to warm over the next few weeks and those smaller, stringer size rainbows to start to show their heads a little more on a regular basis. Boat Rentals are available daily at the cost of $55 for a full day and $45 for half day rentals, so come on up and enjoy the beauty of the June Lake Loop and Silver Lake.

Happy Fishing and We Will See You at the Lake!!!
