Hot Creek is still fishing very, very well. Mid-morning can be as good a time as any to be there this time of year as the fish move around (and bite) and the weather is very comfortable. There are hardly any anglers at all on Hot Creek this time of year. If you're experience with Hot Creek is solely that of the summer months, now is the time to have it to yourself with the angling conditions as good as they get.
