The Mammoth Lakes Basin are still fishing very well. We're going to suggest float tubing on Mary as we are Twin. There are a lot of big trout in Mary still left to be had. They're hungry right now and curious about whatever you might have on the end of the line. Shore anglers will do justice near the marina. George and Mamie is no different than Mary or Twin right now, as this time of year these four lakes all tend to hold the same characteristics. What we are looking at is the trout are moving around looking to grab at some more calories before the winter. The cooling of the temperature has slowed the bug action in turn slowing the surface action.
