Bridgeport Lake is getting pretty low these days, but the fishing is still really good. Mostly out of boats, but I have had one or two decent reports fromt he shore down near the dam. The good shore reports I heard were both on Rapalas, casting from the shore in the late evening. I was kind of surprised they did ok doing this this time of the year as it's usually more of an early and late season thing for this technique. Anyhow, the fly anglers are doing well, both from tubes and boats, still with blood midges, zebra midges, damsel patterns and some hornbergs. Anywhere from just North of the marina on over to Rainbow Point, as well as up in the East Walker channel. Had a few good reports from trollers with fire tiger Rapalas this weekend, either with 2 or 3 colors of lead core, or straight top-lining, right down the middle of the lake. The bait was a little tough this weekend, though there were some fish caught on crawlers and power bait.
