Fishing at Silver Lake has slowed down a little the past few days. A full moon and some fluctuation in the lake level has toned things down but fishing is still decent. DFG dumped in another 900 pounds of catchables and they have been producing some nice stringers. Power Bait and Yum dough baits have been the kings of the shore this week, with Thomas Buoyants being the top hitter in the lure department. With a full moon, the fish have been feeding more at night and early in the morning, so get out there early and drop in a Mosquito, Flying Ant or a Grey Hackle Peacock and you should be alright. Rush Creek has had a spectacular week, with plenty of pan size trout coming out using worms or Salmon Eggs, and a few big browns have surfaced at Lower Rush with Tazmanian Devils. This weeks big fish were a nice 2 pound 5 oz rainbow by Robert LaPierre of Crestline using a Thomas Buoyant. Scott Archer of Anaheim had a great stringer out of Rush Creek using Salmon Eggs totaling 4 pounds 14 ounces. Jason and Blaze VanMeter had a great stringer out of Rush Creek using worms. Vanesa Moreno of Rancho Cucamonga and Zach gardner of Upland landed two beautiful browns on Rush Creek using Tazmanian Devils. Fishing continues to produce some nice fish at Silver Lake and Rush Creek!! Happy Fishing
