The East is running at about 218 cfs today and the water clarity is pretty good. The reports we've been receiving from the "Mile" section of the river have not been any good at all, however, we have received some pretty decent reports from the lower section past the Hwy 182 bridge. The fish still haven't seemed to moved back into the mile yet but there seems to be plenty of good fish down below. Most of the action on the lower section has been with dry/dropper rigs as well as straight nymphing. We have had a couple good reports on streamers as well, mostly early in the day. The water temps have decreased to a point where it's just fine to fish throughout the day as opposed to just early and late. Some patterns to try: dead drift crayfish, sculpzilla, double bunny, Dali Lama, chubby chernobyl, rubberleg stimulator, foam hopper, perdigon, fast water prince, flashback emerger, silver streak, rainbow warrior, darth baetis, zebra midge.
