The East is running at about 234 today, the flows have been a little up and down this past week but still fishable. The weather is changing for the better, air temp was in the mid 30's this morning and the highs for most of this week are supposed to be in the low to mid 70's, this will be good for the water temps on the river which will ultimately make the fishing get better and the fish happier. That being said, we haven't really had many reports from down there lately as most anglers have been fishing elsewhere until the water temps come down. Now that that is happening we should start getting some good reports coming in. At this time I wouldn't hesitate to fish the river, I'd probably be trying out some dry/dropper rigs, straight nymphing and in the mornings I might think about drifting some streamers.
