The West has still been a little hit and miss for most anglers with some good and some not so good reports coming in. Sounds like the best area to fish is still up near the town of Walker, spin anglers have been using salmon eggs, mini crawlers, power eggs, Panther Martins and Vibrax lures and fly anglers have been having some success with hopper dropper rigs or drifting small buggers on the bottom.
