For those that really want to go for a hike up above Woods Lake and Caples, the fishing has been very good for small trout. Take into mind that this is not just a small hike up a little trail. The complete hike is about 8 miles: 2.5 miles into Winnemucca, another 3 miles to Immigrant Lake, then another 2.5 miles out.
Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to nevada@fishreports.com. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
