The lake now has 10 to 12 inches of ice on it and some anglers have been fishing right out in front of the lodge catching some nice trout. There again, another idea for a trip. Stay at the Caples Lake Resort, ski in the morning and fish in the afternoon. Then enjoy a good meal at the resort after a hard day of playing. For more information go to capleslakeresort.com or call 209-258-8888.
Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to [email protected]. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
