Pyramid Lake Fish Report for 2-9-2024
Pyramid Lake Fishing Report
Pyramid Lake - Sutcliffe, NV (Washoe County)
by Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Pyramid Lake rose to 87 percent of its capacity, and only a few anglers braved the heavy rains and high winds last week. We have reposted our report from 2/2/24 “Trout were the best bet at Pyramid with anglers doing well in the marina. Get Bent Baits Minijigs, Mousetails, dough baits, and spoons all worked for bites. Trout continue to show throughout the lake with some reports coming as bycatch for bass and catfish anglers. Large and smallmouth anglers got bent using finesse baits and deep diving cranks on main lake points and along bluff walls. Striped bass fell for cut baits, lugworms, topwater lures, and trolled A-rigs. Striped bass fishing has been excellent at times and almost impossible at others. Catfishing was also a reliable option for anglers soaking chicken liver, dip bait, or cut baits”.
