Scott checked in with us with a report from opening day from Pyramid Lake:

Opening day, weather was a bit rough. North wind so the launch wasn't bad. No real line either. Decent day, 25 or so to the boat. Biggest probably 10 lbs or so. Mostly jigging, picked up a few trolling. Bright colored jigs were having the most strikes. I hooked an absolute monster, but it broke off. My buddy caught a weird flying fish can't wait to go again!
