The Fly Anglers are Doing the Best!

Twin Lakes (Bridgeport) - Bridgeport, CA (Mono County)

The Twins have toughened up a bit but there are still some good fish being caught, mainly still fishing out of boats or from the shore or fly fishing from boats, tubes or kayaks. The fly anglers are doing the best with sinking lines, stripping seal buggers, matukas, twin lakes specials with soft hackle or pheasant tail droppers. Bait anglers are using pinched crawlers, garlic power bait and mice tails. The trolling has been a little tough but if you have down riggers and/or lead core you should be able to pick up some fish with crawlers, thomas bouyants and small rapalas.
