The reservoir is still fishing very well with some nice fish up to 5 or 6 pounds being caught lately. We’ve started getting some good reports from the shore down near the dam and we’re starting to hear of a few browns making a showing. Trolling has been good with Rapalas, Thomas Bouyants, speedy shiners and nightcrawlers. Bait anglers are using mice tails, pinched crawlers, inflated nightcrawlers and powerbait. The anglers fishing from shore are also using the same baits as the boat anglers. Fly anglers should go with leech patterns, wooly buggers, matukas and drop a soft hackle or prince nymph.
