Water Conditions:
Lake is beginning to fill up and is almost to the end of the airport. Runoff will start soon and the lake should fill since NV ranchers/farmers have been very conservative in their water draws so far this spring (river has only been 93 c.f.s. for a while)

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Fly fishing has started to pick up with the warmer weather. For midge fishing try 10-12 feet of water. For stripping go pretty deep with type 3 or 4 lines.

Recommended Flies:
Try red blood midges #14-#16, #12-#16 Frostbite Midges, Black Zebras, Tiger Midges and grey or black/red Optimidges in sizes #14-#18. Also, hang PT's and a Copper John in Copper or Red

For stripping focus on leech patterns in rust, brown and black. Denny Rickards Seal Bugger's are killer in orange/green!

Guides Hint: When stripping this time of year, slow it down?Ķpresentation and finding the right depth always trumps fly selection.
