The past several days have been very windy in the area so the Reservoir hasn’t had the usual numbers of anglers on it this week. The water level has been rising 6 to 8 inches per day and is now up near the airport. I haven’t talked to anyone about the public ramp but I did go down there yesterday and it looks to me like there’s enough water to launch boats there now. This means that you can launch both at the “Bathtub” and the public ramp. Rainbow Point is still a good place to fish bait and when the wind lays down the trolling is still a good way to go as well. Trollers are using Rapalas, speedy shiners, Tazmanian Devils and crawlers. Bait anglers are going with pinched crawlers, night crawlers, mice tails and power bait.
