Valerie Taylor from Crosby Lodge (Sutcliffe, NV) checked in yesterday with an update from Pyramid Lake.

Doug Ouellette of Pyramid Lake Guide Service says: As we all know pyramid lake fishing is weather driven. Best times just before and after a storm. Best beaches are the ones where the wind is blowing in your face. Some big fish have been caught this week in 6ft of water, midges with and without indicators and retrieving popcorn beetles are working best.

Notable Catches Recently
3-18-16 Matt Banta of Reno, NV - 19 lbs 4oz 34.5 - fishing Separator from shore using a snow cone indicator.

Catch & Release:
3-18-16 Shane Farrell of Plain City, Utah - 20 lbs 0oz 36in - fishing from shore at the Tamaracks using a 49er red fly
