Fishing in the creek was probably the best spot this week with the level remaining low. Anglers reported fair results with Pautzke's or worms. Some pretty good action in Weir Pond or around the Tyee Lakes bridge with olive Wooly Buggers or red-throated black Wooly Worms. Angling was sketchy with some bringing in daily limits and others looking for a hamburger for dinner because of no fish. The most reliable limits were when anglers took the time to hike a little and get where the water was not fished out.

The lake has stayed at the same level and should stay there for some time to come. Fishing has slowed down a bit with DFG not stocking regularly, presumably from the fires around the hatcheries. Hopefully they will get back up to speed soon. Alpers delivered this week and we had some nice ones come out mostly with Nightcrawlers or rainbow Gulp.
