The East Walker is still fishing really well. The water temps are getting up to the high 60's and low 70's, the fish are still??healthy but this may change as the water gets warmer. Right now it's??still??pmd's in the am and caddis in the pm. The hatches are great and so is the dry fly action. During the day when the fish don't seem to want to look up it's best with nymphs,??WD-40's, zebra midges, san juan worms etc. The flow is at 101 today, there doesn't seem to be too much pressure this weekend either which is nice.??
Bridgeport Lake is??fishing excellent! Callibaetis nymphs, blood midges and damsels for the fly anglers, either right out if front of the marina and a little North, or over??in the??Buckeye Bay area. For the??conventional tackle anglers it's been mostly crawlers floated up off the bottom.
The Virginias are doing well, lots of great dry fly action up there, a little crowded, but plenty of fish to be caught. Caddis patterns on top as well as beetles and ants.??
