Catch of the Week: Chis O'keefe and Jayla Beasley from Malibu, CA bring a 3 lb. 3 oz. Alper's Trout on White/Red Trout Teaser near the marina. Weather: The weather has been just beautiful this week and will continue next week with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s and high 50s. Just perfect fall weather with the colors at their peak. Monday could be a bit breezy but the rest of the week looks like low winds. Here is a local site that is usually quite accurate www.mammothweather.com. Tactics/Bait: The lake is producing some 3+ pounders and fish are being caught all around the lake with Salmon Eggs working well this week along with Night Crawlers and PowerBait. If trolling go 6 or 7 colors. Fish are being caught all around the lake this week. Locations to try are the Inlet, Outlet, North Shore, South Shore, Creek, Jetty, Handicap Pier and Hangman's Tree. Here is a list of other baits/lures that can be productive: TroutKrilla, Trout Teasers, Midges, Panther Martin, NeedleFish, Thomas Bouyants, Green Wooly Booger, White Mini Jig and PowerBait. Stocking: DFG has stocked again this week. Convict Lake Resort will stock 100 lbs. of Alper's 2-3lb. Trout this week. Sunrise - Sunset: Sunrise this week 7:10am - 7:16am and Sunset 6:11pm - 6:03pm.
