Steady flows and consistent DFG stocking is translating into excellent fishing on the South Fork. No secret baits to report, just the usual stuff - spinners, worms, crickets, salmon eggs etc.

10-8-2011After some rough weather earlier in the week, including some serious wind and about a foot of snow, things calmed down and the fishing went back to where it has been over the past few weeks with plenty of limits with a few big fish mixed in. Not many reports from trollers but bait anglers reported solid action on Chunky Cheese, Garlic or Salmon Peach Powerbait or nightcrawlers.
