The Forest Service is negotiating as we speak for the construction of new bathrooms at the Convict Lake campground. This will be a nice upgrade but will require some closure to perform the work.

As of Thursday, September 1st, the Forest Service has indicated that the campground WILL REMAIN OPEN AFTER LABOR DAY. All spaces will be available on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE (just like the old days). The and websites will not take any reservations for arrivals beginning on September 6, 2011. You will have to come on up and grab a spot.

The campground MAY CLOSE EARLY if they are able to start the work this year. The more likely scenario is that they will start the work next spring and remain open this fall into late October.

We will send out an email and post updated information to our website as we are informed.

Our CABINS AND HOUSES WILL BE AVAILABLE ALL FALL, our MARINA WILL BE OPEN UNTIL NOV. 15 and our HORSES will be saddled up in September and early October. The RESTAURANT will stay open for dinner until October 30, 2011.

Come join us for a fall getaway. Take advantage of our Fall Package (two night stay, one day boat rental and $100.00 restaurant credit - $359+tax). Our fall derby AMBUSH AT THE LAKE starts on October 1, 2011 with over $6,000.00 in prizes.

You can also book your THANKGIVING and or WINTER STAY now.
