Catch of the Week: Michael Kama from Simi Valley, CA has the catch of the week at 2 lbs. 3oz. caught on Night Crawlers at the Inlet. Weather: Daytime highs in the 70s and evening lows in the 40's. Scattered showers Sunday and Monday and full sun the rest of the week. Here is a local site that is usually quite accurate Tactics/Bait: It is really important to get out early fishing in the warmer weather. NeedleFish lures have still been doing well this week and Night Crawlers are still working well. If trolling go 6 or 7 colors...bait fishing has been more production than trolling this week. The inlet at the back of the lake is still the most productive place to catch fish. Other locations to try are the outlet, North Shore, South Shore, Creek, Jetty, Handicap Pier and Hangman's Tree. Here is a list of other baits that are good to try: TroutKrilla, Trout Teasers, Midges, Panther Martin, Thomas Bouyants, Green Wooly Booger, White Mini Jig and PowerBait. Stocking: DFG has stocked again this week. Sunrise - Sunset: Sunrise this week 6:19am - 6:24am and Sunset 7:31pm - 7:23pm.
