Anglers are "kill'n" it at Weir

Same as last week....wide open. On the fly or using spinning gear, folks are just killin' it. Jigs, midges, nymphs, wooly buggers, kastmasters and Thomas Bouyants are all working great.
No bigguns reported this week but I did talk to a pair of guys that spent most of the day at the Weir and reported catching & releasing 150 fish over the course of the day...not too shabby.
Remember, if you're going to practice catch and release, please use artificial lures and flies - releasing gut hooked or bleeding fish is a waste...and the artificials are working better anyway.
