Fishing on Lake Tahoe was a mixed bag this week. A few jumbo lake trout were landed, with the biggest weighing up to 23 pounds.

Kokanee salmon are starting to show up, and anglers are beginning to catch a few. Some decent rainbow trout and brown trout have also been caught randomly around the lake.

Fishing should continue to improve as more kokanee move into the area and summer conditions settle in.
