You've been asking, so we provided! Here is a look at Saddlebag Lake, just about 10,000 feet, from today, May 15, 2026. Tioga and Ellery are mostly ice free, as you can see in the additional photos.

Tioga Pass is now open all the way from Lee Vining to Yosemite Valley.

There is still snow and ice in many of the higher elevation locations so please keep that in mind as you plan your adventures.

Also, NO RESERVATIONS are required to enter the park this year. However, we still suggest visiting midweek for the best experience and smallest crowds.
