A new year on the Truckee River. Good news, it's raining and snowing again. If this keeps up, we'll have another great water year.

Flows have some back down from the big monsoon last week. Around 600 cubes here in Hirschdale and a little higher down on the Nevada side. Great Winter flows.

Somewhat mild out and should stay that way though the weekend. Good time to go fishing. 

We've been getting them on the normal Winter stuff. Worms, small nymphs, and of course streamers. Remember, trouts are usually always in the slow frog water this time of year. Big fish have to eat, little fish, not so much.
