GREETINGS FROM LAKE CUYAMACA
WE ARE IOEB EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 6:15

Won't be long before the fall colors are over so now is the time. One good windy day and we will be into leafless oaks and maples. The trout fishing has been fantastic this week. Lots of 30 minute limits. Best fishing is trolling. Two more weekends left to launch your kayak or canoe. After November 1, they will be banned until Memorial Day.

Best Trout Lure: Orange Rapala, Chartruse Spoon
Best Trout Bait: Yellow Power Bait, Rainbow Power Bait
Best Spots: Foxhole, Lone Pine, Mid Lake

Notables:
    - Xaviar Gomez, El Cajon, two Trout, 16 Crappie using Power Bait at the Foxhole
    - John & Matt Garsow from Murrieta each got a limit using Rooster Tails, trolling
    - Ted Gregor from Carlsbad got five Trout from a boat.

THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT THE LAUNCH RAMP. RANGER CHARLIE WILL MEET YOU AT 10 AM.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH.

There were over 400 kids and many beautiful trout were taken. Grand Prize winner is eleven year old Zachary Okesson, with a trout weighing in at 2.3 pounds.
