The inlets were hot for both bait dunkers and folks fishing plastics. Best baits this week were flylined Nightcrawlers and Chunky Cheese Gulp fished off the bottom with a 2 foot leader. For some reason the Long Lake inlet has been the hot ticket Trollers pulling Brown Trout Rapalas, Thomas Bouyants and Gold Kastmasters found the best bite at the Rock Slide and along the west shore. Top fish of the week was a 4lb 7oz Alper caught by Johnhay Crawford of Moorepark, CA on a cricket. The weekly DFG plant and another dose of Alpers in the 4lb class schedule for this week should keep the bite going strong.
