The lake has iced over and a few anglers have been getting out. I have not received any reports of the thickness. There have been a few ice skaters venturing out as well. This early in the season. When venturing out, stay closer to shore areas. The ice forms starting from the shoreline and is thicker in that area. the middle of the lake is the thinner area and may still be unstable and not strong enough to hold a person's weight.  I will keep you informed of ice conditions as the season progresses.

Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to [email protected]. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
