8/8/20 Fish Report

With water levels down and the mornings getting a little cooler. Signs of the bite beginning to show more life. Surface temps continue to dwell around 63-65. Trolling the depths is still proving best. Just ask Rick Garska of Reno Nv with a 5lb 9oz rainbow. Rick was able to trick the toad into biting while trolling a U-20 Flat Fish at 40’. Also there’s Local Keith Cleary that is still pulling decent browns every few days. Keith is also trolling at 40’+ depth. Shore fishing is picking up as well. Eagles nest, rope swing and the inlet from the upper lake are pumping out some nice fish. Numbers are down this year but the quality and size of fish are up. Twin lakes resort will continue to stock trophy fish through the end of the season. With help from donations to the TRL fish fund , we are able to keep the lake stocked with good pan size to Personal best trout. Come get in on the action. Great fish and great memories are just a cast away. @ Twin Lakes Resort
