TRUCKEE RIVER:
Tahoe City 201 cfs, Glenshire 291 cfs, Boca Confluence 566, Farad Exit 603 Currently the Truckee is fishing very well, with the water running low, clear and cold. As usual, the most consistent fishing will be under the indicator. Dry fly fishing will be an option, however, and the Skwala stones are starting to show which provides a high protein meal that is hard for trout to resist.

FLOWS: Tahoe City 201 cfs, Glenshire 291 cfs, Boca Confluence 566, Farad Exit 603

RECOMMENDED: 9'-11' 4-6wt. rod with 9'-13' 3x-5x leaders. Bugs: BWO (Baetis), Midges, Stone flies, worms, crawdads, sculpins

LITTLE TRUCKEE RIVER: As the flows for the Little Truckee remain very low, we are still recommending to give these fish a much needed break from angling pressure.

FLOWS: Very Low

RECOMMENDED: 9'-11' 3-5wt. rod with 9'-12' 5x-6x leaders. Bugs: BWO (Baetis), midges, worms, winter stones
