Flows are 61 CFS. These are great flows for the fall. They could change any day so keep a close eye on them before you go. Stone fly or Hopper dries are still catching fish on the surface on both the California and Nevada sides of the river. These can either be fished alone or with a small dropper such as a size 18 Caddis or a Baetis. Nymphing has also been working using the same flies only using both at the same time.

Flows have remained at 78 CFS for a week or so now. This is great news for fly fishing. With higher flows than normal it gives the fish a chance to really roam in and out of Boca Reservoir into the Little Truckee. This is the time of year that the Brown Trout start to move upstream.
