Lake Still Has A Lot Of Snow

Caples Lake - Kirkwood, CA (Alpine County)

by Doug Busey

The lake still has a lot of snow on it, which has started to settle and melt. The resort and the day use facilities are still closed. They are planning to open before Memorial weekend. If we don't get any more snow storms.

Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question or a report in our local fishing area, call the Naw line at 775-267-9722. If you have a photo of your catch, send it to Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
