Mammoth Lakes, CA ??? Troutstock Eastern Sierra returns this Labor Day Weekend ??? August 28 thru September 1, 2008. Troutstock is an unprecedented Festival of All-Things Trout that appeals to both hard-core anglers and their families. All activities are family-friendly, and proceeds benefit fisheries enhancement and educational programs in the Eastern Sierra.

New this year is the introduction of Troutstock University, the expansion of Kidstock, the inclusion of 10 participating lakes, and $13,500 in cash and prizes in the tagged trout competition.

Troutstock Eastern Sierra will once again feature live performances by Southern California band Citizen Joe and include the popular trout cooking and fly casting demonstrations, the annual arts and crafts festival in the pines, free trolley rides, and an Awards party and BBQ on Sunday night in The Village at Mammoth...all with the beautiful Eastern Sierra Mountain range as your backdrop!

Troutstock Eastern Sierra 2008 is produced by The Town of Mammoth Lakes Department of Tourism & Recreation, in partnership with the June Lake Chamber of Commerce, Convict Lake Resort, The Village at Mammoth, The California Department of Fish and Game, and the California Fishing Passport Program.
