Mackinaw and Brown Action is Good to Fair

Silver Lake - June Lake, CA (Mono County)

by Doug Busey

The water level is down approx 30 feet off the top of the ramp. There is a small canal leading to the main lake. Small carry boats or kayaks are recommended only. Use caution if you do decide to venture out. there are many obstacles ( rocks) all over the lake. Mackinaw and brown action is good to fair this time of year.

Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question or a report in our local fishing area, call the Naw line at 775-267-9722. If you have a photo of your catch, send it to Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
