The flow here on the upper owens is great right now. Flowing at a lovely 77cfs, with a slight tinge to the water,these characteristics make this a great time to try your hand on The "O".

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:GOOD
The fishing on the upper has been decent. I have had my best luck fishing toward the lake with sink tips and a black wooly bugger on the deep bends. Don't forget to stay for the evening caddis hatch as the dry dropper action has treated me well from 6pm till dark. Try a #16 tan elk hair with a sparkle pupa, or size 20 black copper john.
