Fishing was spectacular this week. A good amount of 5lb fish were brought in this week. Department of Fish and Wildlife stocked a few days ago. It is currently in the high 50's here and the nighttime temperatures are in the high 20's to low 30's. We are expecting some warmer weather later this week. Fall is in full swing here, all the aspens around the resort are bright yellow. We have stopped serving lunch on the front lawn but we will remain serving breakfast burritos Friday-Sunday until further notice. The Restaurant at Convict Lake is also open daily. Don't forget our Ambush at the Lake Derby is going on now be sure to sign up! Our bonus derby weekend will be held on the weekend of October 27th. I hope you all have a great week!

Tactics and Bait
It was another great week of fishing. Some big fish were brought in this week. Powerbait, Inflated Nightcrawlers and lip rippers have been working well.
Here is a list of other baits/lures that also work well: Panther Martins, Tasmanian Devils, green or brown Marvel Fly Lures, Kastmasters, NeedleFish, Roostertails, and garlic scent on Powerbait.

This week we are expecting temps in the high 50's to low 60's this week. Nighttime temps will remain in the low 30's.
