East Walker River: Good-Fair

The flows have been rising steadily over the past week and are currently holding at 215cfs as of this report. The mile section below the dam is your best bet as the water will clear fastest in this section. At this level the fish are on the move and spreading out along the river but will need a couple of days between flow changes to adjust. Nymphing has been the best bet, with streamers getting their share of fish as well. #18-22 PT's, Zebras, Silver Streaks, and Hare's Ears will get you into fish. Pull some #6-8 weighted streamer patterns through the deeper pools and hang on.
